If responses are different - accept the athletes responses
Release your daughter to the game
Realize that all successes are theirs
Realize that all failures are theirs
All problems are theirs-Give them the chance solve them on their own
Model appropriate behavior
Only four people you can be during the game
Fan – Player – Official – Coach –PICK ONE
Focus on team and team goals
Takes attention off your kids
Remember things you can’t control - score, official, coach, etc.
Only one voice and that must be the Coach
